Bracha is a second greater and a great reader. She was well taught the skills of reading and is doing a great job in her fluency. Yet she is still struggling with the “magic E” or “silent E” whichever way you look at it. She is trying to self correct, but is still struggling. She had a great understanding of the text, and was able to explain to me the main idea of the text, interesting facts, etc. I focused my lesson on doing practice on the “magic e” Lesson plan; Practicing Magic E Words (10) ·         I would begin with explaining her again the concept of the magic e, and if we practice it shell become a better reader. ·         Use the fold and read cards, basically its cards that fold on the E so you read mat and then unfold and read mate. ·         Practice a few times till she gets familiar with the words. READING : Before we start reading engage the class in a discussion about a topic that correspond to the story we are going to be reading, it will be something that they have prior knowledge about. Students should read the story to themselves or in groups of two or three, with each kid getting a chance to read, while filling out a KWL chart. Have a class discussion about what we learned. Kids need to back their ideas of what they learnt from text of the story. WRITING: Have students write about a specific character in the story in first person point of view and including feeling. Students will be given out the guidelines of what is required for every part of the story. They will need to fill in a graphic organizer on their writing. They will exchange it with their friend so their friend can mark how well is their word usage, clarity, and how interesting is the writing. The girls will fill out a self-assessment on the writing.

How are students smart in different ways? Well there are many different types of intelligence, traditionally whoever aced a   hundred on the test or on the bee was considered smart. But today we know that there are many different types of intelligence, there is linguistic, logical mathematical, spatial, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, naturalistic. A child can be smart in one way yet not be as smart in another. That doesn’t mean that the child is not smart, on the other hand the child is smart in another aspect. How can teachers use multiple intelligence in a classroom? We as teachers need to make sure that we incorporate the multiple intelligence in the classroom, and make sure that each child can achieve his best through his intelligence. So instead of using the traditional way of lectures, teachers should incorporate different skills so that they target all different intelligence.
